Our chia seeds make a valuable contribution to your balanced, fibre-rich diet and can be used in a variety of ways. Chia seed is a food with a naturally high fibre content and plant-based omega-3 fatty acids. A daily intake of 2 g of omega-3 plant-based fatty acids helps to maintain normal blood cholesterol levels.
Just 15 g of chia seeds per day (equivalent to 2.8 g of plant-based omega-3 fatty acids) can contribute to a cholesterol-conscious diet. Maintaining a varied and balanced diet is very important, as is a healthy lifestyle. Thanks to their mild taste, chia seeds are ideally suited to enhancing juices and smoothies, muesli and desserts, for use as a refining baking ingredient for bread and other baked goods, or as a topping on salads and yoghurts.
Our chia seeds received the DLG gold award in 2022.
